Since opening our doors in 1978, our business has been a fixture of life in Kirkcaldy—offering a welcoming experience and a curated selection of homeware, lifestyle goods, and gifts. Known locally as Rejects, we began as a small shop selling surplus china, pottery, and fabrics. The name reflected our origins—but the quality and care behind our selection quickly earned us the loyalty of thousands across generations.
Though we haven’t stocked surplus or “rejected” items for over 35 years, Rejects has remained the name of our flagship department store—a proud nod to our roots.
In 2025, we launched Town and Country Living to reflect the lifestyle, elegance, and modernity behind our evolving brand. It’s the same curated experience, now available online to customers across the UK.
